Sauteed Snowpea Leaves with Garlic

Unpopular opinion, but I love snow pea leaves WAAAAY more than water spinach. (But tell me why restaurants charge nearly $20 for this dish 🥴) Whenever restaurants have this, it’s my top vegetable pick!

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz snow pea leaves (trimmed)
  • 1 head garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp MSG
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions:

  1. Clean and trim your snow pea leaves. Set aside.

  2. In a large wok, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium high heat. Once hot add your minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

  3. Add your cleaned snow pea leaves and sauté until they turn bright green - approximately 1 minute.

  4. Add your seasonings (salt, sugar, MSG) and continue to cook for another minute or until the greens are fully cooked through.

  5. Serve with rice 🍚🥢
