Ingredients
- 1/2 white onion (diced)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/4 lb ground pork (omit to make this dish vegetarian)
- 400 g tofu block (drained, cubed)
- 2 stalks green onion (diced)
- 1 pack Mabo Tofu sauce mix
Procedure
In a large pan, heat 1 tbsp oil over medium high heat.
Add the onion and garlic to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes or until onions have slight golden color.
Add your ground pork. Cook until 80% cooked - about 2 minutes.
Add your Mabo Tofu sauce mix. Combine well.
Add your cubed tofu and mix well. Lower the heat to simmer and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish with green onions and turn off the heat.
Serve with hot rice and garnish with cilantro.
