Vietnamese Shrimp Toast

Ingredients:

  • 3 baguettes (cut into 1.5” slices)
  • 0.75 lb shrimp (minced)
  • 1/3 cup Mayo
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 handful shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 sticks imitation crab (minced)
  • 3 stalks green onion (sliced)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • black pepper
  1. Preheat your oven to 350F.

  2. Combine all ingredients except the baguette in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Lightly spray foiled aluminum trays with non-stick cooking spray.

  4. Spread 1 tbsp of the meat mixture onto each slice of baguette and place on aluminum trays. Do not overcrowd.

  5. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the shrimp is fully cooked and the bread has slightly hardened.

  6. Finish the top with butane torch for added char 😁 (optional)
