Vietnamese Sweet Fish Sauce Dip - Nuoc Mam Cham

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fish sauce (3 🦀 brand)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 whole lime (juiced)
  • 1/2 head garlic (minced)
  • 10 Thai chilis (sliced)
  • 1.5 cup water

Procedure

  1. In a mixing bowl, add sugar. Boil 1/2 cup water and mix with sugar to dissolve.

  2. Add in fish sauce, 1 cup water, minced garlic, 1 lime juiced, and minced thai peppers.

  3. Stir well to combine and enjoy as a dipping sauce or dressing for noodle/rice dishes.
