Ingredients
- 2.5 lb chicken bones
- 1 large onion (halved)
- 1 medium rock sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 6 qt pot
Procedure
In the 6qt pot, add your chicken bones, rock sugar, white onion, and salt. Fill the remainder of the pot with cold water.
Bring the pot to a boil over high heat.
Remove the foam from the top of the broth.
Lower the heat to low and allow to simmer for 3 hours.
Using a strainer, remove the bones and onions from the broth.
Freeze or use the broth for soups, hotpots, noodles, etc.
