The perfect pair with my Asian styled steak is my dad’s garlic green beans stir fry 🤤 it has the perfect amount of crunch and flavor. This was a dish my dad would often make for us growing up (and I hated removing all those ends and stems of the green beans after school 😂)
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb green beans (trimmed, ends removed)
- 1/2 head garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp MSG
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions:
Trim and remove the ends of the green beans. Wash and set aside.
In a large wok, add 2 tbsp of cooking oil over medium high heat.
Once hot, add your minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add your washed green beans. Sauté for 1 minute.
Add 1/4 cup water. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Add your seasonings: salt, sugar, MSG. Sauté for another 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
