Serves 4

  • 1.15 lb chicken breast (cubed)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 jalapeños (sliced)
  • 4 slices of ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil

For the sauce:

  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp @abcsauces dark soy sauce
  • White pepper powder
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients listed for the sauce. Set aside.

  2. In another bowl, add the cubed chicken breast. Lightly salt and pepper.

  3. In a wok or pan, add 2 tbsp of cooking oil over medium high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breast. Cook for 5-7 mins or until fully cooked. Set aside in a separate container for later.

  4. In the same pan, add 2 tbsp oil over medium high heat. Once hot, add your jalapeños. Cook for 1 min.

  5. Add the sliced ginger and minced garlic. Cook for another minute.

  6. Add back the cooked chicken and pre-combined sauce to the pan. Combine well and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  7. I topped this with fresh ground black pepper and served it with rice and Sambal (for added spice).
