Serves 4
- 1.15 lb chicken breast (cubed)
- Salt and pepper
- 4 jalapeños (sliced)
- 4 slices of ginger
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
For the sauce:
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp @abcsauces dark soy sauce
- White pepper powder
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients listed for the sauce. Set aside.
In another bowl, add the cubed chicken breast. Lightly salt and pepper.
In a wok or pan, add 2 tbsp of cooking oil over medium high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breast. Cook for 5-7 mins or until fully cooked. Set aside in a separate container for later.
In the same pan, add 2 tbsp oil over medium high heat. Once hot, add your jalapeños. Cook for 1 min.
Add the sliced ginger and minced garlic. Cook for another minute.
Add back the cooked chicken and pre-combined sauce to the pan. Combine well and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
I topped this with fresh ground black pepper and served it with rice and Sambal (for added spice).
