About

Hi, I’m Ang.

“Cooking demands attention, patience, and above all, a respect for the gifts of the earth. It is a form of worship, a way of giving thanks.” – Judith B. Jones

I come from a Vietnamese-Chinese family that immigrated to the US back in the 1980s. When my parents came from Vietnam, they brought with them the family home-cooked recipes that they’ve been able to teach me.

Being born in the US, learning how to cook these authentic cuisines has helped me better understand where my family came from, their stories growing up, and how I am who I am today.

This blog was built to share those recipes with those who want to learn Vietnamese cuisine or have lost touch with their own Vietnamese culture but want to re-learn them again.

ăn ngon,
